3 DAY, 2 NIGHT AYAHUASCA RETREAT PERU

• Participate in 2 ayahuasca ceremonies under the guidance of an experienced shaman, who leads the ceremony and helps participants navigate their experience.

• Preparation and orientation: Prior to the ceremony, participants will receive instructions on how to prepare physically, emotionally, and spiritually for the ayahuasca experience.

• Accommodation during the retreat days at our Awkipuma center with comfortable rooms equipped with mosquito nets and bathroom.

• The meals are vegetarian, the aim is to cleanse the physical and energetic body in order to have a more intense and profound experience with the sacred plant ayahuasca.

• Support and follow-up: After the ceremony, participants often receive support and guidance to integrate the insights and learnings from the experience into their daily lives.

Note: Throughout the retreat, care and attention will be provided by the shamans and facilitators of the center, with space to integrate the experiences and processes lived. In addition, it is recommended to follow the instructions and recommendations given by the spiritual guides to ensure a safe and meaningful experience.

Day 1:

• 10:00 am: Pick up from your respective hotels and transfer across the Amazon River.
• 12:00 am: Arrival at the Tamshiyacu community and welcome meeting with the shamans.
• 1:00 pm: Lunch with the participants.
• 3:00 pm: Welcome to the Awkipuma Center and presentation of the place.
• 4:00 pm: Orientation talk with participants before the ayahuasca ceremony.
• 6:00 pm: Free time to rest and mentally prepare.
• 8:00 pm: First ayahuasca ceremony.

Day 2:

• 9:00 am: Light breakfast to recover from the evening ceremony.
• 10:00 am: Chat with participants to talk about visions and connections they had during the ayahuasca ceremony.
• 11:00 am: Walk through the jungle and connection with nature to show medicinal plants and the ayahuasca plant.
• 2:00 pm: Lunch with the group and group talk.
• 5:00 pm: Rest, relaxation and meditation time for the participant.
• 7:00 pm: Second ayahuasca ceremony

Day 3:

• 9:00 am: Breakfast
• 10:00 am: Closing circle and sharing of mystical experiences related to ayahuasca ceremonies.
• 12:00 pm: Farewell and thanks and departure from the Awkipuma Center and navigation along the great Amazon River towards the city of Iquitos.
• 2pm: Arrival in the city of Iquitos and farewell to all participants.

CLOTHES:

• Light, breathable clothing – Long-sleeved shirts and long pants to protect you from insects.
• Light jacket or coat – For nights that may be cool.
• Comfortable and durable footwear – sandals and trekking shoes.
• Swimsuit – access to natural pools
• Hat or cap – To protect yourself from the sun.

 EQUIPMENT

• Daypack – For short excursions.
• Flashlight or headlamp – With extra batteries.
• Reusable water bottle – To keep you hydrated (We have purified water at the center).
• Insect repellent – ​​Preferably with DEET or natural.
• Sunscreen – Ideally biodegradable.

PERSONAL HYGIENE ARTICLES

1. Toiletries  – Soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste.
2. Quick-drying towel  – Takes up little space and dries quickly.
3. Toilet paper  – It is useful to always carry a small roll with you wherever you go.
4. Basic first aid kit  – Including medications you may need.

FOR THE AYAHUASCA RETREAT

1. Diary or notebook  – To reflect on your experiences.
2. Pen or pencil  – For taking notes.
3. Music or meditation material  – If you prefer to practice on your own time (optional).
4. Significant personal objects  – That can help you in the process of introspection.

OTHERS

1. Healthy snacks  – Nuts.
2. Camera  – To capture moments (although consider whether you want to maintain privacy).
3. A reading book  – For your moments of rest.
