EXCELLENT Based on 539 reviews Posted on Timothy Eakins17/04/2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I went to the Amazon to heal deep trauma and it was my first time working with a shaman and ayahuasca. When I stepped into the Maloka and Shaman Bladimir began the ceremony, I instantly knew this was the real deal and felt completely safe and guided by his voice and drum. After 3 days and 2 ceremonies, I feel a deep peace that had been missing most of my life. Thank you to the entire team at Awkipuma for welcoming me, caring for me, and supporting me in my journey.Posted on tom goorden13/04/2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It was a wondefull journey. Perfect environment and felt super safe overall. I did 2 ceremonies and you can tell he knows what he does. Thank you so much for this beautiful experience.Posted on Global American13/04/2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a wonderful experience with Awkipuma and recommend the shaman for healing. They are very knowledgeable and helpful with anything you need. It was amazing taking the journey along the river to the camp. I was fortunate enough to enjoy a night during a thunderstorm where I could hear all the noises of the jungle. They also took us to a local village as well. It was magical, would do it again!Posted on Candace Owens08/04/2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I highly recommend Awkipuma. They were always easy to get in contact with. Before the stay, we had many conversations, they shared information and links so we were fully prepared. They coordinated all of the transportation from Iquitos, and back for us. The meals were delicious, and accommodations were very comfortable. The ceremony is more than words can describe. Vladimir and his family are very knowledgeable in plant medicine. I very much recommend this family for your medicine ceremony.Posted on Marco Aquilia07/04/2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. È stato semplicemente tutto perfetto, ospitalità rara, luogo incantevole, perfetto per chi cerca qualcosa di autentico, ringrazio tutta la famiglia del centro per tanta bellezza donatami, grazie dal profondo del cuore ❤️Posted on Radeen Choudhury06/04/2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Thank you to the entire family at Awkipuma for such an incredible experience. I feel cleansed on a physical, mental and spiritual level. I am left bewildered that this medicine even exists on Earth in the first place. I wanted to write this review to reassure anyone who is having doubts about the legitimacy and safety of this place as I was in the same position. It goes without saying, but do your own due diligence and ensure that you are ready for the experience. You will meet yourself at the deepest level and confront memories, pains, traumas and the truth. Many parts of this journey felt raw and vulnerable. Venturing deep into the Amazon jungle and losing control of your conscious experience for a few hours along with complete strangers and entrusting yourself to shamans you’ve never met before while sleeping in a rustic wooden guest house with basic beds with mosquito nets is hard. All of this might exacerbate feelings of loneliness and fear. Luckily, you’re in good hands. This place is run by a beautiful family who has an ancestral tradition of working with the medicine. This center is their home. They take care of their animals, eat from the abundance of fruits in the jungle and have their young children are running around having fun. The whole family, from grandparents to grandchildren, are present during the ceremonies which eased my anxieties a lot. Everything about this place feels real and authentic. You’ll be okay. You have an incredible opportunity to be extremely intimate with the plant and the jungle. The sounds and vibrations of the jungle will amaze you. This place is a cradle that will soothe your heart if you allow it. Just remember to trust God. Thank you to the entire family for allowing me to have this experience. I will be forever grateful.Posted on Anthony Mezher24/03/2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was perhaps the most terrifying and transformative experience of my life, wow! The journey to the retreat was an experience in itself. When we arrived at the dock, the first boat cost 25 soles and included locals as well. Once the boat was full, we departed for the first stop, had lunch, and then continued on a smaller boat to reach the retreat center. From the moment we arrived, I felt safe, supported, and looked after by the entire team. The facilities were clean, comfortable, and felt very safe. During the ceremony, which lasted about three hours, we were always attended to with care. If we needed to use the bathroom, we were escorted, and afterward, we were also guided safely back to our rooms. One practical tip: definitely bring bug spray, the mosquitoes are relentless. While the overall experience was powerful, I did find that the process of others during my first ceremony was a bit distracting. Additionally, part of our group felt somewhat excluded during a session with Don Ladimiro due to a significant language barrier. Without a translator present, he was only able to communicate with the two members of our group who spoke Spanish, which made the rest of us feel like we missed out on valuable insights about the ceremonies. That said, my session with Bladimir was incredibly reassuring and helpful. Speaking with him gave me a sense of trust in the process and allowed me to fully surrender to the experience. So a special thank you to Bladimir and the team for taking such great care of us throughout our stay and to Alfonso for answering all of my questions. Overall, this was a deeply profound journey, one that challenges you to face your deepest fears but also offers immense personal growth. I highly recommend this retreat to anyone who feels called to do this kind of inner work.Posted on Gabino Silva14/03/2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Muchas gracias por todo, el señor vladimir y su familia me recibieron de la mejor manera. la ceremonia fue algo increíble. Sin duda voy a volver.Posted on Antonella Gutierrez11/03/2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Hola, soy Anto.
