A 4-day ayahuasca retreat in Peru offers a unique experience in the Amazon rainforest of Iquitos. This spiritual healing process is based on the ancestral medicine of ayahuasca, guided by shamans and healers.

- 3 Ayahuasca ceremonies : Each ceremony is usually guided by an experienced shaman. Each session can last several hours and is conducted in a controlled and respectful environment.
- Accommodation with individual rooms and bathrooms in a natural setting, often in rustic cabins that encourage connection with nature.
- Healthy food during the retreat, often based on local and natural ingredients, adapted to pre-ceremony dietary restrictions.
- Pre-talks to talk about ayahuasca ceremonies and how to take them.

Day 1:
- 10:00 am: Pick up from your respective hotels and transfer across the Amazon River.
- 12:00 am: Arrival at the Tamshiyacu community and welcome meeting with the shamans.
- 1:00 pm: Lunch with the participants.
- 3:00 pm: Welcome to the Awkipuma Center and presentation of the place.
- 4:00 pm: Orientation talk with participants before the ayahuasca ceremony.
- 6:00 pm: Free time to rest and mentally prepare.
- 8:00 pm: First ayahuasca ceremony.
Day 2:
- 9:00 am: Light breakfast to recover from the evening ceremony.
- 10:00 am: Chat with participants to talk about visions and connections they had during the ayahuasca ceremony.
- 11:00 am: Walk through the jungle and connection with nature to show medicinal plants and the ayahuasca plant.
- 2:00 pm: Lunch with the group and group talk.
- 5:00 pm: Rest, relaxation and meditation time for the participant.
- 7:00 pm: Second ayahuasca ceremony
Day 3:
- 9:00 am: Light breakfast to recover from the second ceremony.
- 10:00 am: Chat with participants to talk about visions and connections they had during the ayahuasca ceremony.
- 11:00 am: Walk through the jungle and connection with nature
- 2:00 pm: Lunch with the group and group talk.
- 5:00 pm: Rest, relaxation and personal meditation time.
- 7:00 pm: third ayahuasca ceremony.
Day 4:
- 9:00 am: Full breakfast.
- 10:00 am : Conversation to interpret and integrate the experience, and post-diet recommendations.
- 12:00: End of the ayahuasca retreat.
CLOTHES:
- Light, breathable clothing – Long-sleeved shirts and long pants to protect you from insects.
- Light jacket or coat – For nights that may be cool.
- Comfortable and durable footwear – sandals and trekking shoes.
- Swimsuit – access to natural pools
- Hat or cap – To protect yourself from the sun.
EQUIPMENT
- Daypack – For short excursions.
- Flashlight or headlamp – With extra batteries.
- Reusable water bottle – To keep you hydrated (We have purified water at the center).
- Insect repellent – Preferably with DEET or natural.
- Sunscreen – Ideally biodegradable.

- Quick-drying towel – Takes up little space and dries quickly.
